Haha. Yeah. It’s been a few years (about 8 since practicing my TKD). I’ve never done Kenpo. Hard to get a true sense of it though when put into a “fitness” program. Some of them felt a little awkward and I would most likely never use in an actual self defence situation.
But I couldn’t bring myself to do the session in the “Fitness Martial Artsy” way that they do (then it would have just felt really off). So took what they were doing, but did it with the same intention I would if I were getting in one of my TKD sessions. : ) Felt good.
Rock on! you need to work on your technique brother, but overall, quite interesting workout… and again, your kids are simply A-DO-RA-BLE!!!

And I love my kids. 😀 What I loved was that after a bit, they were like “okay, enough of this. Lets bring out the clubbells. ; )
