Description

Room Details:

  • The Tower has 3 private rooms. They each include 1 queen bed, a private bathroom, air conditioning, approx size of room 12 sq m, shared workspace.
  • Tower room ‘Dawn’ = 1 Queen bed
  • Tower room ‘Day’ = 1 Queen bed
  • Tower room ‘Dusk’ = 1 Queen bed
*All accommodations are on a first come, first serve basis.

Price includes:

  • Scheduled transportation between Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ) & El Valle.
  • All event activities.
  • Transportation for all event activities.
  • All provided meals during the experience.

Accommodations and most meals during the event provided by:

Price does NOT include:

  • Airfare
  • Hotel in Santo Domingo (if needed)
  • Food and snacks outside of event meal plan
  • Souvenirs
  • Tips (for local vendors)

A few important details for sharing:

  • Sharing for the Tower Rooms is geared towards couples or friends, as there is only 1 queen sized bed in each room. 
  • Steps to register:
    • Each of you makes your purchase separately (with the coupon code).
    • Add a note on the checkout page or send an email to info@shaneheins.com as soon as purchase is confirmed, stating you are sharing the room with [Name] of other individual (so we know you are together.)
  • If your spouse or friend cannot come, and cancels registration, we will contact you and provide a link to pay the difference ($200usd) for your use of the room as a single occupant.

Travel Details:

  • ARRIVAL:
    • Search for flights arriving to Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ):
      • May 3rd, 2025, in the morning or by 1:00 PM (to account for possible delays)
      • Recommendation: If it is too difficult to do so, arrive on May 2nd, 2025 and stay at hotel near airport (suggestions for affordable options can be provided)
    • A shuttle bus will pick up the whole group:
      • May 3rd, 2025
      • From the airport
      • At 3:00 PM local time
      • The drive to El Valle is approx 3 hours.
    • There will be an opportunity to stop at a gas station / convenience store on the drive to El Valle:
      • This is your last opportunity to purchase additional toiletries / snacks / etc before going into the jungle.
      • Access to these items is very limited at event location.
  • DEPARTURE:
    • The shuttle bus will leave El Valle:
      • May 11th, 2025 at 9:00 AM local time to depart for the airport.
      • The drive to the airport is approx 3 hrs.
    • Search for flights departing from Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ):
      • May 11th, 2025 in the late afternoon/evening (or next day).
      • Account for expected shuttle bus arrival time to the airport by approx. 1:00 PM, immigration, etc.

Return Policy:

We understand circumstances can change, and the potential for a need to cancel attendance arises. Therefore we offer a full refund, minus the $500 usd deposit, up to 30 days from the event start. That is April 5th, 2025.

Because the event has been planned based on prior expectation though, and spots are much harder to fill at the last minute, any cancellation after April 5th, 2025, will result in no refund of any amount.

However, your $500 usd deposit will be credited, once only, to the next offering of The Advance.

In the case of a major life event such as critical illness, death of friends or family, etc, contact us, and the possibility of full credit applied to the next offering of The Advance will be considered on a case by case basis.

Deposit:

The price includes a non-refundable deposit of $500 usd to secure your spot and solidify your commitment to this experience. You will have the option to pay in full upon registration or the deposit to begin with, followed up with a monthly payment plan (total balance due by April 5th, 2025).

If paying after March 2025, the monthly payment plan option will no longer be available, with the total amount due upon registration.

Alcohol + Drugs Policy:

Due to the nature of The Advance and the importance of maintaining the integrity of the experience for all, there is a zero Alcohol & Drug policy.

It is an agreement not to use any such substances (or those listed in event description) with not only us as the organizers or your fellow attendees, but with yourself. To see this important step you are taking, in your journey, through.

If this agreement is broken, you will be asked to leave the event (including accommodations provided), and responsible for costs of transportation back to Santo Domingo (we would assist with arranging the booking if needed).

There will be no refund of any kind. There will be no credit of deposit to a future event. You will be welcome to register for a future event, based on prior approval. This is not a punishment. This is a commitment. To the advance you are striving to make in your life.
